If it brushed off and was white and crystally then it was plume/bloom, not mould. That means, like nh said above me, that it is just aged. It's a good thing, smoke 'er up.

VERY nice! From what I "searched" and readon this cigar it isn't anything to write home about but maybe with an extra 5 years on it....

Also, yes the "mold" was whiet and crytal like.

You might be in luck then. I would stick it in the humi and let if rest a bit then light'er up.Write a review on your find. You may be onto a new storage/aging process.

A corked tube would have dried out. The plastic or wax sealed ones are pretty much airtight. Considering it's dark behind the dresser, it should be OK.
