So CJ and I got together tonight - had a couple sticks, couple burgers, couple beers. At the end of the night all I can say is that the pass is complete...
Now the only things that we have to attend to are:
1. I started with 14 sticks - we're ending with 27 sticks. Which means we're over by 13 sticks. As mentioned in the beginning, we're going to split the 13 between the two best photos (I had said before for landmark and "other" - but to make things easier - we'll do a vote (to be done in the not so distant future) on all the pics, including the ones from the disposable - and the photo with the highest vote gets 7, second highest vote gets 6.
2. How do we know which 27 sticks Mauied? Great question - I'm sending two folks that have not participated in the pass requests - one my list of 27 sticks (sorted randomly) and another to arbitrarily pick 13 numbers - it's not scientific, but it works. The first 7 incremental numbers picked go to the highest vote count, the next 6 numbers go to the second highest vote count. Should have this wrapped up within the next 3-4 days, if not sooner.
3. Will post the disposable pics when I can - then we'll just have to vote.![]()
Look at that... I plumb got myself 5 raisins and 7 termites.
I can't wait to see the pics. Great job on this one Paul and everyone involved.
Awesome, guys...love to see a pass go so well.![]()

This is at Saunders at Rye Harbor, in Rye NH. It's about 5 min. from my home and the restaurant where my wife and I worked in college and met. The cigars are tied to a lamp post on the Deck and the shot is of the harbor around 6 pm or so.![]()

Very, very cool pic. Looks like a relaxing place to light up, soak in the ocean breeze and enjoy the scenery!

agreed with the happy little cloud... very cool pic - and artistic placement of the sticks tied in the lei.

The Restaurant went officially non-smoking last year. But when I worked there I managed the bar and always let guys smoke cigars and pipes in there even when the butt smokers complained. I'm good friends with the owner so I bet this fall if it's cool out and no one is on the deck he wouldn't care if I sparked up a cigar out there.
I worked there off an on for almost a decade and I used to love working lunch shifts in the spring and fall when it was cool out. I would go in early and sit out on the deck and have a cup of coffee and listen to the gulls do their thing.
Update?

We've got photos! Sorry (really, truly, profusely) for the delay. Anywho - there were 12 pics from the camera - all scanned in and presented for your enjoyment:
