You're all taking her too seriously, which is exactly what she wants you to do. She's made more money than she knows what to do with because of people freaking out about the crap that comes out of her mouth. Honestly, I don't think she actually believes half of the stuff she says, but if it keeps her name in the news it's putting money in her pocket, so she keeps pushing the envelope a little bit farther. I remember a long time ago when she used to make regular appearances on "Politicly Incorrect" with Bill Maher, and she was a whole lot tamer (and a whole lot less famous) than she is now. She's smart enough to know that even bad publicity sells books, people.
