another thing....why not try to keep your cigars at 62-65%rh.......the days of 70-70 are long gone...that was best for conn wrappers....but much of what is popular today does much better with the rh.....YMMV....

I am waiting on the magical beads!

I am not saying I was expecting certain flavors I just did not enjoy them one bit. They were, well, just plain unenjoyable. It was frustrating as even a crappy smoke will still give me some enjoyment.

I have to really be in the mood to smoke. If I try to force it, it never works out. Also, I too found that 65% makes for a much better smoke than 70%.

It has happend to me a couple of times. It happens with beer, too. Sometimes it goes down easy and other times I have to fight to finish a bottle. I've noticed things usually taste better when I've had a stressful day.

Don't light up smoke after smoke like that. If you get one you can't suffer through, put it out, relax, have a drink like a nice coffee or maybe a double scotch if you're stressed. Try again later. You can't force it if you're not in the zone. I've noticed that smoking a cigar doesn't work under pressure for me.

My best smokes happen outside during a cool summer evening, after dinner and about two drinks, when the house is empty (read, no wife and kids.) and everything is relatively quiet. I like to smoke with a good coffee preferably, but anything will do. I just kick back and watch the sunset and walk around the house looking at my plants.

Obviously, these circumstances don't occur often.

LIAR You said the best smokes happen with me Kenyth

I hate you, go back to that dirty horror called cool summer evenings, I never want to speak to you again.

And Guado, it could be something with your tongue, your sinuses, who knows, but Kenyth is right, after the first normal (non-revived) cigar, just give up wait for the next day.

Now, now, BigMac. You know summer evenings are just fair weather flings. Only YOU can put the spark in my stogie all year long!

Note taken. After the second one that thought did cross my mind. Unfortunately, I was so determined at that point I just pushed forward. I am sure this weekend will be better. I bought a coupe Punch Rare Corojo to try out. wish me luck!
