Order came in today

I made a order with famous smokes last thursday night, delivered by UPS 2nd day air. The weekend (and the fact that my order was in the evening, so they didnt ship out till friday) had a delivery date of tuesday. Tuesday came and went, so I checked the UPS tracking service to find my cigars were in Miami!! Last time I checked Miami was a lil ways away from wyoming, but luckily they arived safe and happy today. They were packed and sealed well and dont seem to be damaged or drying out. I can understand how orders get sent to the wrong place (I worked as a driver for UPS for Xmas one year), but it still pissed me off. This is the first order I have got from famous, all my other orders were from JR or CVM and I had them sent USPS and they were here in 2 working days. Has anyone else had a prob with UPS? I think I'll try to stick with places that ship USPS from now on.

UPS sucks, always use Fedex.

I have problems with UPS about 1 out of every 20 shipments. Actually as a retailer you cannot ship customers tobacco products Fedex (it violates your agreement with Fedex).

Priority mail seems to be about a day faster and cheaper, but there tracking system sucks really bad.

Priority mail is also harder to file insurance claims if the package is lost in tranisit. I think the site says you have to wait 28 days from the date the package was mailed to file your claim. It's hard to provide replacements for lost or delayed product that way. UPS I typically file a claim 2 days after the package doesn't show up.
