same thing with the cello on mine.....i've tried to pick up a vanilla scent when i'm opening the cello and smelling the cigar...but i can't smell anything that would tell me that this is a flavored cigar...i wouldn't rave about it if i did.....i sense that it's in the curing of tobacco.....i'll smoke another sample today.....the aroma and taste is excellent...and no aftertaste at all....i'd like to know if the company considers these flavored cigars......i don't think they are...but i do sense "vanilla"...but not like smoking a tatiana or cojimar.....which i certainly wouldn't rave about...

the construction on the coronas should be a little less rustic...

I have heard of manufactures using a small amount of Vanilla extract or Rum during the curing process to help sweeten the leaf just a bit. It’s not really used to flavor the tobacco per say, but it can be over done. Remember, wrapper leafs for Anjeo’s and Opus X’s get aged in Cognac barrels which give the tobacco a noticeable aroma..
