Oh I see, just because YOU didn't get abused or screwed over on a deal means no one should talk about it, right?

Sorry money but you're just going to have to look at posts when someone screws up.

In my case, Oblik was rude, nasty and abusive towards me on the Island of the Misfit Toys and was instrumental in having me banned. And yes, I didn't like it and neither did a whole lot of other guys, many of whom I do not even know.

So too bad, you're just going to have to live with people talking about it. The problem here is Oblik, not me or ggiese or CoventryCat or anyone else.

Tell ya what, why don't you convince Oblik to clean up his act. If and when Oblik ever does you'll see a heck of a lot less trouble around here.

I've already told you - no one person (or group of people) is going to destroy this place - very egotistical of you to think so...

As far as screwing people, I think Oblik's attitude is what's screwing people - whether it's his trading practices, or his heavy handed mod practices that's screwing people - he's screwing people. You're attitude is inflammatory - supporting suspicious trading practices is inflammatory.

I'll tell you what - read for yourself how a bad situation is handled in an unmoderated manner. It's a little uncomfortable at some points, but I suggest you read it ALL the way through - FROM BEGINNING TO THE END!!! The resolution is worth the read!!!

The ironic part of those posts is the guy thought he truly had REAL product - and he was WRONG. His product was true from its origins, but not true labeling, so I dare to say, a bit more legit than Oblik's, which are of suspicious origins all together. Yet, this guy did some further reasearch, realized his mistake, and APOLOGIZED to the community. Fortunately, no one was out anything because no trades were done. But he could have just as easily just walked away and chalked it up to experience. Had he done that, however, he would have been outed at any other board he went to - such as what Dave has done here.

I'm glad to see Oblik has NOT been locking threads and deleting posts. And he's been very quiet through these discussions. Hopefully, he understands and appreciates the gravity of his actions, which will shape his decisions in the future.

I don't feel I have "fired baseless accusations" and if you feel I have been disrespectful for voicing my opinion so be it, there isn't much I can do but disagree. I feel that SOME of your posts have been disruptive and I have voiced my OPINION that I wish them to stop. For that I have been called names and been accosted with some pretty rude posts, and I took the bait. As I said before, my own stupid fault there...I let myself get drawn into this mediocre drama...

To my fellow members that have been here awhile, I apologize for my part in this.

To the new members , I'm sorry if you were offended, and I hope you get some sort of resolution to this someday....there are obviously a lot of bent up egos and hurt feelings in this situation, and I have no place in it. It is now very apparent that nobody can have any bearing on this situation, and I apologize for trying.

Now THAT is funny If you call tossing out baseless accusations and making inflamatory posts trying to "reason" with people then you don't have much of a grip on reality. Your idea of "reasoning" with people is to start with heavy handed flaming and insinuating things that are just plain not true.

I disagree with you on my lack of integrity however. I think that is a baseless accusation. I unfortuanately didn't see that post from Oblik that you referenced.
