    You might need to season the humidor again, expecially if it sat around with the lid opened.

    Also, get some Heartfelt Beads, just because they're awesome. It makes keeping your humidity stable and at the right level very easy.

    Do a salt test on the hygrometer, put it in a plastic bag with a small thing of damp (not soaking, but damp) sald, and let it sit for 24hrs. It should read 75%, and if it doesnt it's off by whatever the difference is.

    Yeah sounds like the humidor is the problem. The wood absorbs water until there is a happy equilibrium between it and the hygrometer.
