    Default GOP Condones Pedophiles Actions

    Hypocritical bunch of shit-stains.

It seems the pube party leaders knew about FL Rep Foley for at least a YEAR, but, like the catholic church, they chose to ignore the situation untill it had already become public knowledge.

So much for the party of morals.

Seems like this goes on on both sides. Remember the Barney Frank scandal of a few years back.

Seems like Mr. Frank was allowing a male prostitute, that he had paid to have sex with him, to run a bordello from his residence in Washington. Mr. Frank is still in Washington. For some reason he keeps getting elected. Shame on the people of Massachusetts.

Mr. Foley and Mr. Frank are of the same mold. They are just on different sides of the fence. Both are morally bankrupt.

Leadership on both sides needs to be revamped. The integrity of our nation is suffering.

You're quite correct...But allowing a bordello to be run from your place of residence and paying for a prostitute is still illegal and shows a lack of integrity.

Mr. Foley and Mr. Frank have no business being involved in the running of our government.

How about a male State Representative from Connecticut who was molesting his 8 year old foster child?

He was a Democrat so does that make it okay?

What gets me is when that news broke, even the most partisian of Republicans NEVER threw ALL Democrats in the same boat with this guy.

Barry, you really make yourself look like an asshole when you slam a whole party for the actions of one person....

Man, its just gross, gross and disgusting.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown

    Let me see,

sex with children, or sex with a consenting adult?

Yep, I don't see the difference either.

More proof the right-wingers are sick.

Come on Barry...You took what I said totally out of context. I merely stated both of them violated the law. I did not say having sex with a minor was OK. It is worse than what Mr. Frank did...But are Mr. Franks actions condoneable?

Do you want any one running the country that has the blemishes either one of them has on their records...I don't.

"We track library books better than we do sexual predators," Foley has said.

maybe he was just trying to make a point? /sarcasm

I know the idea of having any gay Congressman is distasteful to right-wingers, but let's just take a closer look at these accusations against Barney Frank.

He admittedly had a relationship with a bisexual prostitute, Steve Gobie, who he had hired as an aide, and who was fired after Rep. Frank found out that he was using his house to conduct his prostitution business. The firing happened in 1987, two years before the House voted to reprimand him. BTW, the reprimand, after the House investigation, was for fixing parking tickets for Gobie, not running a prostitution ring.
So what you're so upset about is Rep. Frank fixing a few tickets. Hmmm, what group of assholes running the Country right now illegally dole out huge favors to personal friends and campaign contributors?
The only reason right-wingers go after Rep. Frank is because he's openly gay, and continues to get overwhelming support from his constituents, and it drives them crazy. Right-wingers just can't stand it when a gay person is in a position of power, hell, they can't stand it if a person is gay, period.

So what you're trying to say is that any violation of any law is the same. If that's true, no one in this entire Country would be qualified to hold office, including you.

Don't put words in my mouth. I have no problem with gay people holding any office. They have the same rights as you or me.

They should be held to the same moral and ethical standards as any other elected officials...Which should be higher than the average man on the street.

Is Mr. Frank so unaware of his surroundings that he is not able to figure out what is going on in his own household? If the man is not able to run his own household how can he be trusted to help run our country?

Everyone has committed a crime in their live. Some in fact disqualify you from holding from holding public office. Crimes of moral turpitude...Hiring a prostitute and allowing a bordello to operate in your place of residence...Well you make the call. I would be fired from my job if I did that. Fixing parking tickets is also against the law...I would be fired for doing so.

Is Mr. Frank any better than I?

When are left wingers gonna accept their people are just as able to become power hungry and forget why they were elected as the right wingers?

Quit making excuses for fuckups. Vote the bums out.

Three guesses who controled the House from 1987 until 1989...Yep it was the Democrats. Reeks of coverup to me.

This post in no way condones any actions of Mr. Foley...Seems like denial and coverup are the way things are done in Washington.

Fuck you Barry. I'd like your opinions on State Representative Jefferson Davis, D-50th district (yes, the "D" stands for DEMOCRAT) who was arrested for molesting his 8 year old foster son in June of 2003. He refused to resign, Democratic party leadership said nothing, he stayed in office like nothing happened. This guy is a multi-millionaire who hired the best defense attorney money could buy, and when he was facing certain jail time, he plea bargained to a TEN YEAR prison sentence which they SUSPENDED so this guy never served one day in prison.

Here's an excerpt from the article where is shows that HOuse Democratic leadership DID NOTHING:
    May 11, 2004 •• 755 words •• ID: nor2004051221165765
The six-term legislator says it's time to move on. By RAY HACKETT Norwich Bulletin POMFRET - State Rep. Jefferson Davis, D-Pomfret, announced Monday that he will not seek re-election in November. In a statement released by the House Democrats press office, Davis said it was a decision he had come to after the 2002 election and makes no mention of his legal problems. Davis was arrested last year on sexual assault charges involving a minor and is scheduled to go to ...

As you would say "More proof the left-winger are sick." Don't you agree? I'd love to see how you're going to lie and bullshit your way out of this one. You may operate this way but I don't nor do any other Republicans that I know personally.

Once again, throwing all people from a political party into a category because of the actions of one is completely asinie and stupid on your part. When you do shit like this, you only reinforce the notion that you cannot be taken seriously and that you have your head shoved up your ass.

Liberals scream each person is an individual and concesions should be made for their beliefs. They then then lump their oposition into one group and claim they are the root of the big problem in America. Kind of a hypocritical theory IMHO.

Blowing smoke and hoping no one will see through it is their way of operating.

Well the funny thing Sarge is that a majority of Americans no longer buy the bullshit, venom, lies and hate that guys like Barry spew and the more they do it, the more people vote Republican.

This thread is a classic. I think that 99.99% of the people would agree that this Republican Congressman from Florida is bad news but no, Barry has to attack the whole party what a fucking douchebag......

So never mind Barry, I love you and keep up your good work, you're the BEST, keep excercising your "free speech" and turning the people in the middle against the liberals!! Guys like you get more people to vote for my candidates than any positive campaigning I can do myself.

    Default Look at that...

We are all in agreement that Foley is a worthless piece. Who says we can't "just all get along?"

Now if we could just come to an agreement on Ted Kennedy

Eat shit repug defender of pedophiles.

You guys are a real piece of work. Digging awfully hard to find Democrats even remotely as corrupt as the repukes. Digging around for records of State Reps.

You can try and spin this any way you want. The fact remains that multiple REPUBLICAN Congressman knew of this piece of shits actions for a YEAR, and did NOTHING. They allowed him to continue his perversion, effectively with their approval. BTW, we don't know all of what he did yet, the repugs are still covering up. I suspect it's much worse than a few e-mails and pm's, otherwise he wouldn't have been so quick to resign and get the fuck out of the spotlight as quickly as possible. And, all the repugs are distancing themselves from him like he has the plague.

And now you're defending their actions. That's just fucking sick.

How am I "defending their actions"? The fact remains that your Democrats did far worse here in Connecticut. It wasn't a matter of "digging" it was something that was pretty big news here two years ago and what Davis did was far worse than anything Foley did.

    Barry, you're pathetic......

You just make things up and lie and twist things around then you throw in what you "suspect" figuring that if you repeat it enough, people will think it's fact.
