    Welcome from one new member to another.

    My earliest memories of growing up were in a SW Chicago suburb. Grew up in Calumet next to the golf course, and moved to Potowatomie Hills down the street during kindergarten and first grade.

    I still love the upper mid-west.

    I haven't been to Cigars and More yet. THey let you hang out and smoke there? I'll have to check that out.

    Hey Sprang!

    Is that a black Gibson ES-335 as your icon? I have a 1979 dot neck sunburst 335 and it's still my favorite guitar.

    No, it's an 87 LP Custom. I noticed your avatar, I was thinking what kind of, hey wait a minute, there're EIGHT tuning pegs there! WTF??

    It's a Breedlove mandolin. Although my Breedloves (yes, "plural" Breedloves) are a bit plainer than that.

    The only place you can legally smoke in Libertyville after they moved to be a "smoke free" community 10/01. You can't smoke anything in any establishment other than a smoke shop...

    You gotta stop by - they have a great area in the back with leather chairs, big screen TV's, game tables, etc. And usually a great bunch of guys... You get a chance, check it out...

    I'm going to try and be there next Sunday for the Miami game...

    That sounds great! Do they let you bring any libations in there? I'll try to pop in on Sunday too.

    The only place you can legally smoke in Libertyville after they moved to be a "smoke free" community 10/01. You can't smoke anything in any establishment other than a smoke shop...
