Sorry to hear that, did you get their license plate number? I'd report them to the cops immediately.

    Thanks guys,

I am ok thankfully which is the most important thing. There was a police report filed and insurance companies were contacted but this being NY there are so many accidents and people are assholes for most part so they will never admit its their fault and so insurance companies treat these cases as 50/50 meaning i get nothing out of it unless I sue for mental damages or some other crap ( which I am not going to ).\

Oh well I guess god gives some and takes some away.

Must have been my time to give some back

Glad you are in one piece, Dan. Even with the 50/50 ruling, can't you get a rental car until yours is ready to roll?

Good to hear you are all right.

Yeah, insurance companies suck for the most part. Maybe try to find an autobody place to fix it that will give you a loaner.

Accidents are always a hassle. Sounds like everyone has given you the standard tips.

You'll forget about this in a few years, I'm glad you didn't have a mishap that ends in tragedy.
