Shitty Way To Begin A Day

On the way to work this morning some asshole changed a lane right in to my car. Went to the bodyshop and looks like I will be out around $2000 to get it right again. Now have to figure out how to get to and from work untill its fixed. 30 min ride each way.

Dan, sorry to read that bro. Was it hit and run, or did he/she stop? I'd get insurance involved if it is any where above 50% their fault, which is what is reads like. If they don't have proper insurance but you have their address, I'd find the bastige's car and let a friend take care of their car

I am ok thankfully which is the most important thing. There was a police report filed and insurance companies were contacted but this being NY there are so many accidents and people are assholes for most part so they will never admit its their fault and so insurance companies treat these cases as 50/50 meaning i get nothing out of it unless I sue for mental damages or some other crap ( which I am not going to ).\

Oh well I guess god gives some and takes some away.

Yeah, insurance companies suck for the most part. Maybe try to find an autobody place to fix it that will give you a loaner.

Sorry to hear about it Dan - and glad you got the bastids information and police report. Wondering if there were witnesses that stopped to give information to testify or write an affidavit?
