my $.02: i don't want to see him be 'physically remove' (not that its possible to be physically removed from an internet site, but.....) he seems to know a lot more than most of us do about cigars and i like having him here for that. its not just him that is disrupting this board. its him and everyone that replies to his negative post with negativity. there's no reason that we can't have heated arguements without calling each other names and just saying things to piss each other off. i appreciate him letting us know about the trading habits of others to protect us from getting ripped off. but i also think that once is enough. i'd like to see everyone stay here and it go back to friendly conversation about cigars whenever possible.

for my part in this I apologize, I have definitlely let Coventry get my goat so to speak, and have tried to back off, and he continued to try to bait me. I have tried to keep it light, and he continues with the namecalling.
the rest of the new members have settled in nicely, and even when they differ in opinion or argue they keep it civil, and more importantly, they have not harassed anyone and majority of their posts are friendly, helpful, and about....yes....CIGARS!!!!!

Coventry, Hex is the Owner of the site, and I think he has given you a lot of chances here....and he has given you one more. here is your chance to tone it down.

Or you will have to find yet ANOTHER cigar site to to go to and say "Those bastards banned me!".....sooner or later maybe it may sink in that it's not always "everyone elses fault".

BTW, I saw you joined up at LTC...you going there to talk cigars?

You crack me up, you should look at your own behavior, you claim you have "backed off" and I contiunue to try an "bait" you. I can guarantee you that a thin skinned person like yourself would lose his mind if someone said that about you. You are the one who should "tone it down" as you say. It's pretty clear you have a short fuse and have anger management issues so please, do us all a favor and "tone it down" okay?

Just a question for you, how many of my posts have NOT been about cigars or cigar related (which includes posts discussing people's actions on other cigar boards)?

I'm not trying to "blame others" lab, I'm simply pointing out that particularly in your case, you are probably more guilty of flaming and starting trouble than I am.

And once again, you did it in the post that I just quoted. If you can't see that you aren't exactly as pure as the driven snow, then you're not being very objective here.

I just tried to log into stogiechat and found out I was banned. Check my posts and see if you can see any reason why I should be banned.

Later lifting of said ban does not change the fact you, and several others, were banned from Stogiechat for similiar circumstances to what you are doing here. Or perhaps you are going to try and go purobratish and make up some insanely stupid reason why that banning doesn't really count?

Well I made a mistake, my memory is not as good as it used to be.

A couple of weeks later, the people on stogiechat realized the error of their ways and lifted all the bans.

Geez Shag, I remember when you came on to CigarPass and caught a world of crap and none of it was from me. As a matter of fact, I remember sending you a PM telling you that I though you made some good points and that I also thought PuroBrat was being a dickhead with his tough-guy talk (just like he did to my friends on the Island ofthe Misfit Toys). Looking back, I wished I had posted that PuroBrat was acting like an idiot towards you but I did not. I'm sorry for that.

Pretty good actually, reading, not usually posting.

I couldn't resist busting the grammar cop on that flub... I decided that was too good a chance to let slide and it seemed like a good time to start posting on forums again.

You are a good guy CC, but you seem like somethings got you on a tear over cigar forums for the past few months and you do tend to get a little over the top. I think sometimes your zelousness to protect the "community" gets the better of you and you give some folks the wrong impression of your intended point. But that's just my 2 cents worth.
