That being said, you got to realize that this is a cigar community. I started this forum for like minded people to chat about cigars, not to debate politics. The politics forum is really meant to discuss the inevitable controversy that comes up with in the community, not what’s going on in the real world.

OK I think we have all had enough of the political BS. As far as I’m concerned, this is issue is now closed. We have no political bias here. We have respected members who look after each other. These members are respected because of what they have done for the community, not because they vote for people who like to take our rights away - (Blatant reference to Patriot Act to further establish where I stand).

Sometimes there will be disagreements, its part of any community. If you want to be able to voice an opinion and not have people jump all over you, then make a name for yourself here. Trade cigars, offer advice, take part in passes, heck organize a pass. Contribute, get to know people, and you will be respected.
