Then there's the hypocrisy of frog-marching one unpopular member out of here and the opposing side (who is JUST AS BAD in the vitriole department) gets to say "Nope, no more politics on the politics board."

Yeah, I've only been here a month. And in that month I've learned that you can call democrats "shitstains," applaud their deaths, link them to the communist party, and drop the F-bomb on anyone who leans left. Just know for sure you're insulting a liberal when you insult people here.
When I suggest that DVM and CC are basically the opposite sides of the same problem, I get a wonderful invitation (from the administrator no less) to take nourishment from a "Nice Cup of Shut the Fuck Up."

If you don't want politics on the politics board, how about changing "Politics" to something like, say, "Travel."

I think if you go back and review the tapes you'll see it was your pal Barry who said the REPUGS (that's Barry's deragatory term for Republicans, along with "Repukes") were "shitstains". Sorry - I know in your world you would like it the other way, but it's not to be. Can't change history like you fixed your typos.

And while we're on that subject - that was exactly the kind of banter which led Barry to the door. No - you can't just waltz into the place, start flinging poo all over, stinking it up and expect everyone to pat you on the back and tell you what a great person you are.

Again - appealing to your comprehension skills - this is NOT a politicat debate board. It's a CIGAR board. From time to time there will be discussions about politics. It's inevitable. There's going to be discussions about sports. There's going to be discussions about cars. There's going to be discussions about women (and men, if CigarGirl and Cinda are so inclined). But in any of those areas if someone were to start flinging poo like Barry, there's going to be a clamp down. If you don't like that philosphy - MOVE ON!!!

I have been here more than a month, almost two in fact.....couldn't give a shit less how established members solve their disagreements, seems to me its between them.......sdvm more than likely got what he deserved, but who am I to agree/disagree........the only thing I know is that I LOVE COOKIES especially macaroons!!!! I wonder if coconut has a political connotation..
