I used my Dremmel to alter a large coffee can for my "el-cheapo" ashtray. Since I cannot smoke inside I do not need a fancy one. Also since it is outside I do not empty it very often and do not have to orry about the smell.

well it came in the mail today, bigger than i thought it was going to be, no complaints here about that though. Main thing i was concerned about was if where you place your cigars if that was going to be angled too much. Thats the main reason i needed a new ashtray so my cigars wouldnt slide into the ashes. But it looks like it'll work nice and theres plenty of room for the wrappers and whatever else you would throw into an ashtray.
Good to hear. I ordered one two nights ago. I am excited![]()
I got mine yesterday. It IS huge! Wow. I love it!!! My friend likened it to a dog bowl.... lol
yeah i like it, got to try it last week, finally a ashtray where my cigars dont slide.
I've been thinking about getting one of these ashtrays... and was wondering what y'all thought of them after having them a few months...
and i havnt been able to find measurements for them on the internet... or pics with something for scale... how deep and how many inches across are they?

I have one...love it...bowl is 3" deep and sits on a 1" base, so 4" high...OD of ashtray 8" round, with the bowl's ID being 7"...so the important part of the ashtray being the bowl, is 3" deep by 7" diameter...hope this helps...Originally Posted by JStrider
