Going to Vegas

I'm going to Las Vegas next week and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good cigar shop to visit while I'm there, also looking for decent places to eat that will let you smoke cigars.

Great question . . . I of course can be of no help but I am very interested in the answers because I won a 2 night trip for two to Vegas and my wife and I will be going within the next year.

Whatever you do, stay the hell away from cigar purchases on the strip, unless you want to spend about 3-5X over retail!!! I saw regular Montecristo Churchills selling for over $25.00!!!

Do go to the Forum Shops as Ceasars Palace - they are officially opening the Casa Fuente store in June, which I hear is unbelievable (and also unbelievably priced), as well as the Davidoff store. It's just nice to browse....

HAving visited many cigar shops in Vegas.. They are all over priced!!

The Davidoff shop at the Venetian is a nice shop.
The Davidoff shop at the MGM Grande has the hottest woman working there who knows her cigars.


But you mus visit CASA FUENTE at Ceasar's very nice looking place.. and the best place to buy Fuente products..price wise..

Also BRING YOUR OWN CIGARS!!!!

I got back from Las Vegas last week, and finally had a few minutes to sit down and say thanks for the pre trip advice. I'm glad I heard from you folks before going, cigar prices are out of control in Vegas. I put together a travel humidor and took a bunch of my own smokes with me. You can smoke everywhere in that town, and even at two cigars a day, it would have cost me a fortune if I hadn't brought my own.

The Casa Fuente store was worth the trip on its own. They had just gotten in the Casa Fuente cigars the day before I got there. I splurged and bought the 4th Casa Fuente churchill out of the box. Absolutely amazing cigar, and a really really really hot cocktail waitress to bring you (overpriced) drinks while you smoke.
