Scotty, the average age of membership of any particular cigar board cannot necessarily be equated with the any "younger trend" mentioned in the article. You’re comparing apples and oranges here. Some "haughty intellectual" you are.

The "source" of the article is "manufacturers and retailers" with no hard evidence presented to support this statement.

This article was really a promotion piece for Cusano Cigar rather than any kind of real journalism. Once again, their cigars are pretty lousy.

I really loved this one:
"The best cigars in the world come from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Honduras," Holliway said.
We all know that just about any cigar real aficionado would have mentioned "Cuba" in that statement. However since tobacco retailers in the United States cannot sell Cuban cigars, ya kinda think he's being just a wee bit disingenuous with this statement?

Now, statements like this are fine for the "opinion" page of a newspaper but "articles" that state opinions and unfounded facts that lead the reader to believe that it's the truth are about the poorest example of "journalism" I've ever seen. Kind of like the "Democratic Underground" right Scotty?

This BS and many other parts of this article make it perfectly clear that it cannot be believed and should make us all ask what's the REAL motivation behind the purpose of this article?

Pretty pathetic.......
