I have such an awesome wife. She just bought me a Glenmorangie 12 yo Portwood Finish.

Has anyone ever tried Jon, Mark and Robbo's scotch whisky ? If not, buy a bottle and tell me what you think. I like it alot. One of the guys who makes it used to work at the Maccallen distillery.

I have such a hard time finding it now. If anyone see's it at the store let me know. We could work out a trade. You ship me the bottle, I will pay for it and the shipping and send you some cigars in return for your time.

I'm definitely a bourbon drinker, myself (although I do enjoy whisk[e]y in general). I prefer something nice to sip on, and I'm quite fond of both Maker's Mark and Knob Creek.

WOW! I am incredibly envious. Are you finding all of those at local liquor places? I'd have to do some serious traveling/special ordering to come close to that kind of collection. I'm actually looking for a new sipping bourbon to try...do you have any suggestions? Maker's is my standard choice, and if my wallet is feeling nice and happy then I'll splurge and get a 1.75 of Knob Creek. Any ideas?

Sorry for the delay; my laptop bluescreenofdeath'ed. Came back to life after booting from system disc; almost had to drop $1200 on a new Vaio. I digress.

All locally bought, although I did overpay on ebay for a bottle of Pappy 23 year old, then the next week Binny's got me another bottle. Binny's can get anything. Got me George Dickel Barrel Select in less than a week (Tennessee whisky).

Decided tonight that I like Knob better than Woodford.
Pappy 20 yr old is the absolute favorite--about $90. 15 yr old isn't bad.
Rowan's Creek is a good small batch bourbon.
Eagle Rare is another lesser known one that I like.
George T. Stagg kicks butt at around 140 proof--add ice and let it melt/dilute!
