No apology necessary DG, and I understand your motivation for making the post. I agree that this doesn't need to turn into full-blown meltdown and am not trying to run MM out of here (as if I could anyway).

Perhaps I am a little too butt-hurt over this and more emotionally invested than is warranted.

I have no issue with members asking for isom's in their wishlist, none at all. I only object to false or misleading statements being made when asking for them.

I've always wanted a flame thrower and would be willing to trade for it.

I can definitely see why ashauler and Jfellows would be upset about the remarks from MM. When I send a special cigar to a newb (or anyone for that matter), I would like for them to recognize it and at least remember that they have it. That being said, I'm almost positive that the "real ISOM" comment by MM wasn't directed towards any of the people that had sent him the genuine thing. I thought I remembered a post a while back by him stating that all he had smoked were fake ISOMs. (though I could be mistaken) I was one of the first guys on here to become suspicious of MM when he first started posting. After a while I realized he was just an overzealous newb. I think this was an honest mistake on his part.

I think MM should comment on and clear up any misconceptions about his "real ISOM" remarks. A genuine apology or two would go a long ways to maintain his credibility as well.

Ok…well I want to clear the air on this issue. First off I want to make an unconditional apology to Ashauler and Jfellows. I know that both of you went above and beyond to send a new b some REALLY nice cigars. I DID make an honest mistake on what sticks were sent to me and that’s all it was, an honest mistake. As stated by another member here to me, we’ve all done it in one way or another.(make mistakes as to what has been sent to you). I know this is a pretty close group of BOTLs and I in no way want Fellows or Ashauler to think I was trying to take advantage of either one of them or anyone else on the sight. So I am making this apology to both of you in this forum so others can see that I am in fact sorry and do respect the sight and the fellow BOTLs here. Once again I am sorry you got the impression that I was asking for ISOMs under false pretenses…I was not and for that I am truly sorry for offending two very established members who were trying to hook up a new b with two very nice sticks.

I also want everyone else to know that since this thread has started I have received my fair share of Threatening, Intimidating and Demeaning IMs. Some of them were way over the top and uncalled for. For everyone I have dealt with personally on this sight(you know who you are)I have been nothing but upfront, trustworthy and generous. Any future personal interaction with me will continue to go this way. My promise to this sight in the future is to think before I post, put myself in others shoes and think about what my post may say to them or how it may be perceived.

Once again Ashauler and Fellows, I am sorry for offending you.

. You are right, this is an extremely close membership and we will make every effort to protect each other and watch each others backs.

It is unfortunate that you have been receiving threatening and inappropriate IM's from some members. I sent only one PM, in response to your's, and while certainly an angry and straight forward response, I don't believe it was threatening or demeaning in any way.........if you took it as such I am sorry.

As far as I am concerned, this issue is over and no further comment needs to be made.

Now, you wanna trade and make-up? Put some of those Mexican sticks you speak so highly of where your mouth is?

BTW, you might want to read my thoughts on Te-Amo before you agree.
