  1. Default My apologies

Guys, let me apologize for breaking the unknown rules on here. I did not mean to make anyone angry over my posting something for sale as my first post. In my post it tells you that I quit smoking so participating in any of the other cigar posts on here seemed kind of pointless to me. Anyway I didn't post pictures because I am not very computer savvy. I didn't post prices because I really don't know what the stuff is worth used and I was kind of hoping to get a few e-mails with questions and requests for photos etc. I live in South West Virginia, probably two hours from Richmond. My son is helping me post pics this time. hopefully someone out there will be interested in this for a fair price and not just discount it because I broke etiquette on your site. again I apologize and didn't mean to upset anyone. Hopefully the pics post correctly. if anyone is still interested you can e-mail me at retnavyencm@hughes.net for answers to any specific questions, phone number etc. As far as the Xicar cutters go I mispelled that and I have no idea what the X stands for. almost forgot I would really like to sell the whole mess instead of pieces here and there.

Better info. Thanks. One thing is missing. Price please? If you do not name your price, folks around here are going to initiate our bidding system. That can be brutal.
Mama said a lot of things and be thankful was the one she never minded saying twice

  4. Default Thanks Chris

My wife bought it for me when I out grew my two desk top humidors. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. I have received many compliments from my cigar smoking buddies on it. I think it is generally when they are trying to get a Oliva or something out of it!!

Don't worry man, you didn't piss anyone off. We just like bustin balls a little. It weeds out the panty-waists. I think you may get more bang for your buck if you're willing to break it up into several packages. I know you don't want to give too much of a discount but if you sell the whole lot togethor, you'll have to discount it quite a bit. Get a pretty close inventory of what you have and try to come up with a fair price(not trying to profit). We know what the stuff is worth and will give you an honest opinion if you need advice.

Damn, that looks nice. If I hadn't just bought a new humidor I would look into this one.
    The cigars aren't bad either.

xikar, the X stands for xikar; just trying to point out how completely you misspelled it. And i didn't mean to jump your shit, just assumed the worst after reading the posts from ole lordpuffer. Looks like nice stuff.

    Mike,

Very nice way you handle yourself. Goes a long way here. Start listing cigars and the amount you have of them. If your not very good at searching the intranet for prices I'm sure someone would be happy to help and then maybe even make an offer. On rare hard to get cigars you can get MSRP some times. But on common things expect to get at least 20% under MSRP.

Also since your new don't be surprised if some members here request that you send your end first. It's the way things are done when trading or buying from newbies. Trust and reputation is earned by your actions here and in other spots of the community That takes time.
