so now that i have a decent tupperdor set up and maintaining decent humidity my cigars have been doing great. however there is little cedar to speak of in the set up so when i open it as you can imagine the rH plumets and takes hours to rebound. my seeming answer to this is that i have recently realized that i have a cigar box made from spanish cedar. only realized this after i got some cedar and compaired the woods. thing is i have had the box since i was around 5 years old, making it 15 years of age. my question is should i clean it before introducing it to my humidor and if yes, how?
P.S. for those that may be wondering the box is for a 5 pack of authentic ISOM H.Upmanns.
