I gotta agree. The cuban classic is an awesome smoke. Some would even say .... dead sexy.
Pepin does have some nice stuff out. The think I'm concerned with is he's putting his name on alot of stuff out there. How many blends is gonna come up with? God help us if he starts working with Gurkha.

Two of my favorite cigars are Pepins. The Don Pepin blue label and the San Cristobals. Both have a wonderful, smoky, rich flavor for me that I enjoy the whole way through. His blends match my tastes very well. I also like Tatujaes on occasion, and the 601's are also a regular smoke.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

I find some to be terrible (Tatuaje), and others (Padilla, San Cris) to be good. Just depends on your tastes I guess.

Joya de Nigaragua Antano or an El Rico Habano any day

Still a newb
I've liked almost all the pepin cigars I've smoked. But I gotta agree with Kevin that IME they have mostly all started off very harsh, but then mellowed out after about an inch. Does this go away with some age on them?
