Here is a thread for you guys to discuss your "Pig" comments from the "Ticket". I deleted those posts this morning and will try to move them here ASAP.

Im serious about that type of discussion staying out of other forums.

I have done my best to move the offending posts to this thread. If anything is missing, sorry. It has been a major pain in my ass.

I really don't see why everyone hates cops, I'm 18 and have nothing against them, and I'm in the age range where most of my friends hate them.... My girlfriend and best friend have both been pulled over and got off with warnings, my other friend and I have been pulled over for "yelling" out of a window... but no tickets or anything, as long as you aren't a prick and didn't do anything huge theres nothing to worry about. I do know of a few people who have gotten screwed for pretty bs things, but I guess cops are people too, they have bad days

After many PMs and emails and posts I have come to a conclusion. As a Law Enforcement Officer I am often misunderstood, abused, and called names. Only another brother in blue would understand what we face from day to day. It is a position many of you would not wish to undertake.

Police Officers are family. We stick together no matter what. We socialize together, eat together, laugh together, and fight and bleed together. When one is insulted we all are insulted.

Scott, at first I tried to laugh it off. I got PMs and emails from folks in Law Enforcement and some that were not that were offended by the "pig" remark. The more I thought about it the more I realized you really screwed up. Joking with me in private is one thing. Making a comment on a public board is another.

Scott, an apology is in order.

Ken knows me very well. He was in a pass of mine and we talk quite frequently to one another. I wouldn't make a crack like that if I knew he would be offended. Thank you for noticing the smilies, you obviously are aware that I didn't mean the "term of endearment" to be taken seriously.

Scotty, whether cigarsarge "knows you very well" or not, you shouldn't post crap like that. If you knew he was African-American would you refer to him as a "Nigg#r" on a public board since you're such great buds and all?

So here's your assignment for today, I'll recap:

1. How would you handle the student in the above example?
2. What DOES your sigtag mean?
3. Apologize for the "pig" comment

If you do all of those things, you will certainlly go a long way to rebuilding you pathetic "rep" in the cigar world. Maybe you'd just be better off in your liberal fantasy world "America's debate" where you jerkoffs sit around and babble on about nothing while you try to convince yourselves that you liberals know more and are just plain smarter than everyone else in the world. No, there's only three or so out of 370+ members. But when you refer to them as "pigs" it's NOT AT ALL a joking matter as old Scotty boy would like you to believe.
