I have a few of these (Willet), wonder which iteration you picked up - do you have any age statement info, DSP# &/or know if it was bottled for a specific merchant/group?


Pricewise to taste, Rittenhouse Rye 100 BIB is tough to beat. Especially if you're looking for something to mix it up.

well gosh damn, i take it... it must have been at least ok - since ya' finished it that quick? surprised you remember anything! j/k. lol

mainly i was asking because Willett is a family name but the truth is they don't distill anything that they're bottling (that i know of) and basically are bottlers of sold off whiskey.

with only a barrel #, it's hard to know exactly which distiller's product was sourced to produce your bottle. the obvious point being to bear in mind that if you buy another random bottle of "Willett" without specific details, there's a good chance it may taste nothing like your last example.
