The above article from the Wahington Post cites a Harris poll conducted July 21, 2006 that found 50% of Americans believe Iraq had WMD's at the time of the 2003 American invasion.
All of America has been given this information (cited in the article):
"After a 16-month, $900-million-plus investigation, the U.S. weapons hunters known as the Iraq Survey Group declared that Iraq had dismantled its chemical, biological and nuclear arms programs in 1991 under U.N. oversight".
How can the poll results be real?
No weapons program has been found in Iraq.
No documents regarding WMD production has been found.
No weapons stockpiles have been found.
The Iraq army didn't use any in the brief war.
Al Qaeda hasn't used any.
Iraqi insurgents haven't used any.
Hezbollah hasen't used any.
No terrorist organization has used any.
And yet 50% of America believes there were WMD's in Iraq?????????????????????

In spite of all evidence to the contrary, the entire universe is composed of only two basic substances: Magic and bullshit.
