You can't be serious with this post are you? Let's look at each statement spearately:
Absolutely wrong.Politics is a profession, nothing more.
Huh?Politicians and their machines are getting to the level of used car salesmen.
Now you're just plain being stupid....No one gets to higher office because of their overriding desire to do good.![]()
Another ridiculous statement. They get there because of their perceived ability by their party fat cats to get votes.![]()
Once again, a completely false statement.Political spinners and talking heads are getting everyone all heated up for no one but their own benefit. After all, it's what they get paid to do.
This one is completely absurd, now you're starting to make me laugh!Political stances are nothing more than 30 second snippets, venomous opinions by "journalists" and 2 minute "news" stories.![]()
That's probably because you live in an area with competitive races which is expected. People who live in areas where there are no competitive contests are seeing far less than they evr have.I have seen more political ads this mid term than I can ever remember...
Well, there's a reason for that and if you'd like me to explain it, I will. In short, while people howl and whine about "negative campaigning," studies have proven it works, it's kind of like why they build casinos all over the world. The key is it should be done by taking issue with a candidates voting record or platform and not with personal attacks.the vast majority of them being just plain ugly.
Once again, completely FALSE, "no one" huh? C'mon, you're grossly exaggerating, don't you think? No one talks about themselves, they just cut down their opponents.
No it's not, the candidates are paying to get their message out. If you were the least bit honest with yourself, you'd admit you've learned something from some of the political advertising you've been exposed to over the years. It's all horse shit.
I dunno Shelby, you come across as not being grounded in reality with this post.
