Anyways, reason for the coolidor is, I'm getting a few more boxes from a country south of where I am, and let's just say I'm not in Canada!

My questions are:

1. Is it better to put beads in those bags or is it better to just put it in a bowl?
2. Is 1lbs enough for a 100qt cooler?
3. Do I really need a small fan to circulate the humidity in a 100 qt cooler?
4. Can I place 5 packs in the cooler, or only cigars in boxes? (dunno if plastic smell will affect 5 packs, since they don't have the protection of the spanish cedar boxes)
5. What is the meaning of life?
6. If a tree falls and no one is there, would it make a sound?

Thanks.

Andrew
My wife threatened to kill me when I told her that a coolidor was going to be our new end table in the living room. But I said hey! You like to smoke the cigars as well, do you want to smoke dried out shitty cigars? As for your questions:
1. I have my beads in the heartfelt tubes and that works great. Go with whatever works for you. I don't think there is a bad way to do it.
2.I think 1lb should be enough but just check to be sure. You can always just wait and seee what your humidity levels out to and add some more or remove some if you you are to high or too low.
3. Those oust fans can be picked up for as little as 3 bucks so it is a pretty small investment for a bit of piece of mind.
4. Throw whatever you have in the cooler. I think the more cedar the better.
5.He who smokes the most cigars has the best life.
6. If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there, it makes a sound all right. But not a thud, it cries for hours. As sad as that is, you have to remember when a tree is planted, it sings for joy.

Take care and good luck with your coolidor.
