Here's my Phantom Planet Porter. 2 weeks in the bottle and it's already delicious. I sent it off to a competition yesterday so I can get some feedback.

I made a British Mild at the beginning of the week. That's a cheap beer to make. Cost me under $20. It's a low alcohol beer (3-4% ABV) so the grain bill was only 8lbs for a 6 gallon batch. I've never had a mild (can't find one) but have been reading about them and I can't wait to try it.

Looks great! I've got a Bock, Vanilla Porter, and an Irish Red Rye for tapping at the Teach A Friend To Homebrew Day event tomorrow. Oh, and I'll be brewing 16.5 gallons of the Irish Red Rye also.

I brewed a Robust Porter and decided to enter it into my first competition. Can't believe it ... I got second place. Wasn't really expecting to place, just wanted to get some feedback. Had to wait 2 long days to get the results back. Felt like forever. So I got a ribbon on the way with some critique sheets.

Man, this is a great feeling.

Congratulations chefchris. I'll be running the Great Arizona Homebrew Competition next year at the end of February. I'll post the info for entries if you're interested.
