I'm not sure its 1000 count... I modeled it after one I saw on the internet (Ivy-Hall priceton or something).

I'll edit my humidor post with some details about it.

Thanks,

Okay, had a closer look at the pics, and I think the CO is pretty close to its limit, but should handle that cabinet if the seal is good (don't forget the window seal). If you were getting a new unit, the next size up (XL Plus) or clone of an XL Plus (e.g., CI's Hydra 'clone') would have probably been a better fit. OTOH, the XL controls RH year-round better than the XL plus (or Hydra).

However, I personally would put in at least one additional fan to move the humidity around a bit quicker. It looks like the only way moisturized air can move from the bottom to the top is alongside the glass in the door, so a little help would benefit. I would also probably re-locate the CO to the third shelf, as the area that needs the most - and most active - humidification is where you have your singles, i.e., the top of the humi. You may want to get the cabinet-maker to take a router to the shelves - at least the singles shelves - and slot them.

I don't think that you need beads with a full 1/2" thick spanish cedar lining. OTOH, I bet it took a couple months to fully season that much spanish cedar! BTW, with that thickness, I predict a sap run in your future (don't worry, it is normal for the sap to weep).
