    Default Thanks

    Thanks for all the replies.

I'll try moving the oasis around...

Brain Fart: It IS an XL Plus... That should change things.

I thought about cutting slots in the singles trays. I can do that myself.
Airflow also occurs up the back inside of the humidor. The shelves don't go flush to the back.

Do you really think I'll get cedar bleed? It took Randy (carpenter) over a year to build the thing for me

If that's the case, It seems like it's working fine if the Rh is at 71. Why don't you test the other areas of the cabinet with digital hydrometers where the Oasis isn't sitting. That's what I would do before cutting holes that may not be needed. It's a nice looking cabinet though.

    Btw, welcome from NY.

Thanks. Sometimes, I just find myself staring at it...

Ah, was hard to see if the shelves were flush. The slots are less likely to be needed then. I'd still want an auxiliary fan - you can still find Oust fans (e.g., at Heartfelt) for a quick convenient solution.

As for cedar bleed, nobody expects it, just wanted you to know not to worry if it does. You've got a lot of cedar in there!

I have leftover computer fans & the like. I can rig something if necessary. I'll check them out, though. Thanks.

Again, the smokes seem to be doing fine
