    Nothing was broke on mine. I just wanted to clean it....and take it apart (it a lifelong affliction marked by old cars, motorcycles, houses, pretty much anything.)

    If you have one made ut of german steel covet it,new ones are chineese (lead alloy prolly)
    The older I get ,the better I was

    Mine's probably chinese. I got it about a year ago. How old does it have to be to know?

    Taking stuff apart - no problem.

    Putting stuff together - ummm ....

    Yeah.. normally the first thing I do when I buy something mechanical... is take it apart to see what's in there!

    Comes from 10 years building engines, and another 8 years in quality assurance...

    (and the better part of my young life taking apart Dad's drills and saws and such)


    Some reason, I've never peeled back any of my Xikars!
