    Congrats!!!

    My wife and I just bought our first home in December after the new home prices in our area dropped about 40k. It was on the market quite a while when we saw it in August, so it worked out to our advantage.

    Yeah, we took advantage of the bad market to. It was a valuable tool for negotiating. Congrats to you also. Good luck with it.

    Don't forget to take advantage of that New Home Credit. I believe it's $8k this year and you don't have to pay it back!
