    These are some "before" pictures.

    1. Me and my contractor/friend in the front yard.
    2. Back of the house.
    3. Dining room.
    4. View of columns between living room and dining room.
    5. Hideous kitchen begging to be killed.

    Congrats!!!

    My wife and I just bought our first home in December after the new home prices in our area dropped about 40k. It was on the market quite a while when we saw it in August, so it worked out to our advantage.

    Yeah, we took advantage of the bad market to. It was a valuable tool for negotiating. Congrats to you also. Good luck with it.

    Don't forget to take advantage of that New Home Credit. I believe it's $8k this year and you don't have to pay it back!

    I missed the deadline for this year. If it's the one I'm thinking about, you do have to pay it back. It's a 15 year loan with no interest. But I'm sure the liberals will forgive those that get these loans too.
