    I've been told that you can put the lids on tupperware containers to fill up some of the space and help manage the humidity swings.

    If you do this it's very important to keep a stable temperature.

    yeah, I have heard that too, the only problem is that plastic still does not hold onto the humidity so when you open your coolidor the humidity usually swings a bit. It is best to have the cooler lined with spanish ceadar or have some quality spanish ceadar boxes in the coolidor to keep the rh maintained. I need to get some better boxes since I have only paper coated boxes.
