    Lightbulb Padron 6000,5000

i went and bought 4 more of these after buying one for the first time(dont know why i waited so long) about a week prior. what are everyone elses thoughts or pointers on this/these cigars. i dont know very much about cigars but i love them and collect slash smoke them. cusano 18's were my favorite but i think the padron is the number 1 for right now. any pointers and explanations on the series numbers and wrappers etc would be great.

Padrons have long been favorite smokes of mine. As for the thousand series #s, they represent size (and with the 6000 size & shape). Size increases with #. The 6000s & 3000s are my personal fav in the line. Great smokes @ reasonable prices! Can't beat that.

i just bought my first fumas. i know they're probably not as good at the regular blend. but the smell of the stick is very close the the smell of the 6000 i have. i'm axious to try it. it's d@mn ugly, but for $1.50, i have a feeling it's going to be worth it.

Probably Padron 1964 or Padron 1926
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

Hmmm, I've never seen any of the Padrons packaged this way, but if I had to guess I'd say either the Milleniums or the 40th Annies.

IMHO for the money you can't go wrong with the 2000 Maduro. Great flavor in a Box pressed Robusto Vitola and at around 3.50 to 4 bucks a pop you just can't go wrong.

i went back yesterday to buy the 6000. the ones in the glass case WERE in fact the anniversaire and the 1926 ones. they were anywhere from 18.50 to 26.50 a piece.

on a side note, i had another horrible episode from smoking the 6000. got real dizzy, lethargic, body felt like it weighed 900 pounds, and then got nauesous to the point of doubling over into a ball and just laying there till i vomited or fell asleep. cold sweat . . . ugh it was horrible! made me say "im never smoking another cigar ever again" but ive said that before the last time this happened lol. and im already craving another padron lol.

i thought at first that it was from inhaling cigar smoke on an empty stomach but that would only cause heartburn at best. i later realized that i was sick from swallowing tabacco jizz lol. when i smoke it makes my mouth water for some reason, i remember swallowing some of the saliva that was pooling in my mouth from around the cigar crown. i often almost soak the crown for some reason. is this normal? sorry for grossing anyone out but i need to know lol.

as i have mentioned, im new to this hobby(about a year and a half tops) and i could be doing something wrong. any help would be appreciated.

when you said you thought it might be from inhaling, did that mean that you inhale your cigar? if so, then you were right! do not inhale your cigars! when i first started smoking cigars, i spit a lot. because swallowing the spit made me feel a little woozy, but that quickly stopped. i haven't even been smoking a year, but i do smoke about one a day. try drinking something sweet with your cigar. also, smoke it slow. and don't smoke too much pot before you smoke your cigar. that sometimes causes the cigar to seem too strong. i've never felt how you described, though. that sounds kind of scary.

okay, for the record, i dont smoke pot lol i hate the loss of control, so i dont do any kind of "recreational drugs"

i dont inhale on purpose, im a newb but but not THAT new lol.

i must admit i was smoking it too fast.
i learned that driving and smoking-for me- doesnt mix.
at least not when im in a hurry

i think i decided that cigarsmoking for me will be in a quiet, peaceful setting where i am relaxed and prefferably sitting/lounging.

however, i will try to smoke another padron while playing the slots tomorrow night at the hard rock casino hehe

seriously though, im gonna try it to see if i can do it without wanting to slit my gut open or shoving my finger in my mouth

dude, its the worst feeling you can imagine. you would BEG to feel the carnival ride kind of nauseous or flu sick or depression sad over this! its THAT bad . . . .

the reason i have inhaled in the past is because i tried to keep a cigar lit by suckin on it. i learned AFTERwards lol that you should never do that or else you will -inhale of course lol
plus, its a "crappily" rolled cigar anyway if it has to be relit

yesterday, i inhaled very little if at all because i was driving/distracted hence me not wanting to smoke a cigar while driving

the cause of my "dont know what to call it" sickness is because i swallowed some "tabackee" saliva jizz. from suckin on the crown and making my saliva turn into juice and swallowing it. UGH, NOT FUN!

that sounds really awful, man. that sounds like what happens to me when i eat lingonberries. i'm highly allergic. get the cold sweats, lots of vomit, sometimes dry heaving. definitely the worse feeling i've ever felt. even worse than when i found out my ex cheated on me with my best friend's little brother. maybe you're allergic

i don't know. but i know it has happened 3 times. so, i'm pretty sure it was the lingonberries. i'm not all that knowledgable when it come to allergies. and i've never heard of what happened to you happening to someone, but i may just have never heard about it. anyone else hear of this? and about the protein thing....does poison ivy have protein in it? i've never heard that something has to have protein in it to be allergic to it

no one is allergic to posion ivy. poison ivy is -poisonous- hence the name . . . and its poisonous to everyone hence the no one being allergic to it comment.

could be that the longdongberries you ate were/are poisonous. know anyone else that eats them and doesnt get sick?

the tobacco juice may not be posionous per se but its not exactly V8 if you know what i mean. plus, theres pure nicotine and tobacco in there which is like injecting TIDE into your blood. lol

i have doubts about your 'no protein/no allergy' thing. and the poison ivy not being an allergy. i may be wrong. but poison ivy doesn't affect everyone. my doctor told me i'm allergic.
