I've done Yoga for a while now. A lot harder than it looks. Also don't get to excited about 40 half naked sweaty women in a room. I want picture's before I comment. Depending on what the crowd looks like.

Most of the women I've seen do yoga are a bunch of old big-bottomed hippie women. Not that there's anything wrong with that, especially at my age.
Doc.
Do draft dodgers have reunions? And if so what do they talk about?

I do an awful lot of running on both hard surfaces and turf. In the past, I would experience muscle strains and lower back discomfort from all the mileage. Since I began yoga, I have had no significant injuries or joint stress. I attribute it partly to adding yoga as a systematic method of stretching and flexibility training. If you strength train or power lift, I highly recommend adding yoga to your rest day routine.
Oh, BTW - There are tons of routines available on-line for no charge. Unfortunately, you don't get to hang out in a class full of sweaty, wide-bottom hippie moms...
That's exactly what I've been doing since I was 20.... So Yoga is the perfect compliment to my Weight Training. The Yin and the Yang. It really opens everything up, not only physically but mentally too. And the breathing techniques which are practiced also can have amazing benefits.
Actually, I've lost 40 lbs since I started Yoga in January... Hahaha. I was 230 now I'm down to 190But I've retained my upper body size, and am flexible as shit, lol
