Oh, and Will, those kind of nightmares are scary....if you were planning to play someone that doesn't suck.
I'd be down, I think [looks in wallet, and a bunch of moths hit badwhale in the face]

I had a Johnny O Salomon before. Was good, but didn't burn too well. If I recall correctly, it was plugged pretty much through out.

Enough about that, so this the sign up thread for the group buy?

Nah, whoever would run the split should just start a thread up in the exchange forum.

I'd be down with a split. I wouldn't mind two sizes either.

Absolutely love Johnny O's, but this sounds like one of the issue that comes from trying to smoke a Johnny O shortly after it's made. They could be somewhat on the wet side, causing them to burn funny or feel like they're plugged (e.g. "swelled up").

I personally let Johnny O's rest for a while in 60-65% rh until they've had a chance to dry out a tad, typically six months or more - just to be safe. They smoke FAR better afterwards.

Please put me on any split list someone puts together - great smoke at a great price!

The one I smoked, I got in a trade. I believe the person I got it from had it for a few months at least and then I ended up letting it sit for a while. Possibly a year even. So I don't know. Personally I think I just screwed up the light, I tend to do that sometimes still.

...and there are those Johnny O's that are just plain plugged. It happens from time to time - but, thankfully, that's awfully rare.
