I'm not the resident expert on humidor seasoning, but in my opinion way too much effort and emphasis is put on this. All I did was order the 65% beads, spray them with distilled water and put them in my humidor with a bunch of cigars. I diligently checked my beads every couple of days to make sure they weren't dried out and re-sprayed as required. I new I had to keep an eye on them a bit more than usual as the box would likely be thirsty and I had no idea how dry my cigars were. My humidor has been between 64% and 73% for the last 9 months with upward swings in the humidity only after I re-spray my beads.

    Hope this helps.

Wipe the godamn thing down inside with a little distilled water. Let if dry the fuck out so your cigars dont get soggy fucking wet. Put your choice of humidification device in it ,stuff it the fuck fuck of cigars and leave the fucking lid closed unless you are gertting a cigar out to smoke. Opening the lid every hour just to eye fuck your cigars just leads to cronic eye fucking low humidity syndrome

    LOL

As a friend of mine would say to me when I go off......"No, tell me how you REALLY feel"

It's been my experience, and I'm only on my second humidor, that it takes several days for a humi to "season" and stablize.
