humidor question

I'm not the resident expert on humidor seasoning, but in my opinion way too much effort and emphasis is put on this. All I did was order the 65% beads, spray them with distilled water and put them in my humidor with a bunch of cigars. I diligently checked my beads every couple of days to make sure they weren't dried out and re-sprayed as required. I new I had to keep an eye on them a bit more than usual as the box would likely be thirsty and I had no idea how dry my cigars were. My humidor has been between 64% and 73% for the last 9 months with upward swings in the humidity only after I re-spray my beads.

Put your choice of humidification device in it ,stuff it the fuck fuck of cigars and leave the fucking lid closed unless you are gertting a cigar out to smoke. It's been my experience, and I'm only on my second humidor, that it takes several days for a humi to "season" and stablize.
