Sent you a PM about the sampler.
I just recieved the sampler yesterday. The cigars looked and smelled great. I am going to let them sit in the humidor a few days before smoking them. I can't wait. Thanks a lot!![]()
I got mine in this morning, everything looks great. I can't wait to get home and put them in my little humidor![]()

It turns out that shipiping to Canada is actually slightly cheaper than Priority Mail within the US![]()
Not only that, it didn't take that long to get there. I think I mailed them last Thursday.

Friggin' bank whacked me a $4.00 "fee" for the Canadian money order. Well at least I know this for future deals with those from the Great White North.Originally Posted by CoventryCat86

Use paypal...then they can pay you in USD and CD comes out of their accounts...Originally Posted by CoventryCat86
Ouch, I'm sorry. If I'd known I would have sent extra to cover it. I'll make it up next time we deal. I'd send you a "sorry" cigar now, but all's I have I got from you and I'm not sure it would mean as much that wayOriginally Posted by CoventryCat86

This is good to know for me though, because I am sending another MO south of the border tomorrow.
Don't worry about it at all, I didn't know either. The main reason I posted this was so we'd all know for future trading. In all the trading I've ever done, this was only the 2nd time I did something with someone OUTSIDE the USA. The other one was with a guy in Sweden but we trades cigars so no $$ was involved.Originally Posted by thepyrofish
I guess certain banks have different charges. In my case, I use a credit union where the fees are generally less than other commercial banks. The told me that the fee is either $3.00 or $4.00 and it has nothing to do with the amount of the money order. They told me it would never be higher than $4.00.
Whoever you're sending the MO to should check with his bank first to see what the fee will be.
