    Default Molly

    Well,

That's Molly. Got her last night from my friend and his GF who located this dog that was at a foster home. She seems pretty cool sofar. Energetic, but not totally batshit. Haven't noticed anything psycologically strange about her. Loves to play with her ball, and is a good retriever. Walks good on the leash, good with kids & other dogs, and people. Only thing is, the cat isn't happy. At all. Guess they'll have to learn to get along.

Congrats Will. Hopefully nothing crazy surfaces and she will be a great one for you.

Looks like her and that rat have really hit it off too.

I can't wait to meet Molly. Looks like she'll also help control the rat population next door.

Way to go Will, a rescue is a good thing!

It won't be long the dog and cat will be curled up together sleeping..........lol

Also, a ^5 to Sarge for his good looking rescue dog!

Nice! All my dogs are "rescues". They make the best dogs IMO. I really believe they know what you did, and appreciate it.

Try to refrain from feeding it microwaved chicken. The bones are really bad for them.

    What a cutie.

I was told that tail-wagging can be an issue until they learn each other's body language. Both tail - wag as a result of anxiousness, but the dog is anxious to be friendly, but the cat is uncomfortably anxious. (Dogs are from Mars, cats are from Venus...)

Just make sure that anyone else in the household doesn't start to feel supplanted by the dog!

Talk about a mix, is that a common mix breed? Or some super new breed sent to specifically take over the Whale household?
We got her from a foster place, so she just came that way. I don't think anyone was "trying" to mix them.

Molly is a little bit bigger the Heidee was. I think its the size of her that freaking the cat out. I bet by Jan 1 2014 the cat and the dog are sleeping together...not in sin just as good olde pals!

On the contrary, Heidee was a full 75# in her prime. This one is about 50ish, but like, one big muscle.
