I was told that tail-wagging can be an issue until they learn each other's body language. Both tail - wag as a result of anxiousness, but the dog is anxious to be friendly, but the cat is uncomfortably anxious. (Dogs are from Mars, cats are from Venus...)
Just make sure that anyone else in the household doesn't start to feel supplanted by the dog!

Molly is a little bit bigger the Heidee was. I think its the size of her that freaking the cat out. I bet by Jan 1 2014 the cat and the dog are sleeping together...not in sin just as good olde pals!

On the contrary, Heidee was a full 75# in her prime. This one is about 50ish, but like, one big muscle.Molly is a little bit bigger the Heidee was.
