Unless I can give someone a model number, I don't ask for something that requires research. If I asked anyone in my family for a humidor, I'd get a cigar box or some handmade plywood wonder...
Heh :). My girlfriend gives me the evil eye and tells me I have NO patience (which is true) and to be patient regarding this gift.

I think I may just have to use the logic that it will: take time to get the humidor, time to calibrate/season it.....and when all of that happens, it'll be just in time to store cigars which should be around the time of my birthday :).
