    I light mine about halfway up the cigar. Cuts my smoking down quite a bit.

    Welcome!!!

    Just one more thing though, don't bite the end off. Invest in a cigar cutter or puncher and enjoy! If you bite it you run the risk of unwrapping it, it also means you may end up with bits of tobacco in your mouth and it may make the cap end a bit soggy.

    Hey, I've used the "teeth" method to cut a cigar when I don't have a cutter handy. It takes a little practice but it's not the worst thing in the world.
