Well, I think calling me a "trolling snotty bitch" qualifies as name-calling. Since such invective has proven to be your modus operandi around here, I can see how you would confuse your attack on me with the attacks you've waged on countless others. And given your disdain for this political board, only one question comes to mind. Why are YOU still here? The heading on the top of this board clearly defines it as a "Politics" board.....hence the subject matter. I've got to say, your continued inability to figure this out seems to validate the red-blue divide in average IQ that I linked you to earlier.

Politically, the Republicans have a pretty impressive alignment geographically and I don't see 2006 as the year where the Dems have much chance of reversing that. Nonetheless, the GOP can only go so far legislating against majority opinion on virtually every single issue. At some point, the party more closely aligned with where most people stand on the issues is gonna get its act together and retain power. If I were you, I'd enjoy living on borrowed time for as long as it lasts.

LMAO!! I heard that in 1996 when the Republicans took over Congress in 1994. I heard it again in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and I'm hearing it again for 2006 where even you admitted that the Democrats will not take back Congress or the US Senate so it sure seems to me like the party more closely aligned with the people are the Republicans. I wouldn't count on the Democrats getting their act together anytime soon. Now you may not like most of what they're doing but it seems to me you're in the minority so get used to it. That actually kind of surprises me because I thought you had made some previous political post that indicated you yourself were more aligned with most of the Republican positions at the national level.

Just for the record, I have a number of libertarian positions. There are only a few issues where I'm closer to the Republicans than the Democrats....and most of them are issues that I would never base my vote upon.
