At some point, the party more closely aligned with where most people stand on the issues is gonna get its act together and retain power. If I were you, I'd enjoy living on borrowed time for as long as it lasts.
LMAO!! I heard that in 1996 when the Republicans took over Congress in 1994. I heard it again in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and I'm hearing it again for 2006 where even you admitted that the Democrats will not take back Congress or the US Senate so it sure seems to me like the party more closely aligned with the people are the Republicans. I wouldn't count on the Democrats getting their act together anytime soon. Now you may not like most of what they're doing but it seems to me you're in the minority so get used to it. That actually kind of surprises me because I thought you had made some previous political post that indicated you yourself were more aligned with most of the Republican positions at the national level.
