Duplicate Accounts

Yes, I disagree completely and I don't see how it is "lying." I also fail to see where any "trust period" is violated. Are you saying that just because sid and others who have no idea what they're talking about are taking pot shots in the dark that you don't "trust" anyone here anymore? Okay, let's take me for example, I told you I created "the ox hole" as a "duplicate account" before there was any such policy against it. Does this mean you don't "trust" me anymore Nate? Does this mean you won't participate in a trade or a pass with me?

There's another board I'm active on where there's a guy who has two accounts and everyone who has been around that board for a while knows darn well what the guy is doing and we all think it's funny as hell. For those who don't know, I don't see how they are harmed in anyway whatsoever.

What cracks me up is the guy (sid) who started all the rumors here about "duplicate" accounts engages in the same exact thing over at Herfer's Paradise where he is bigpoppapuff and blkfrankwhite. sid also has FOUR accounts over at larrynj's place. I'd like to know from the shit stirrers here (like shelby) why they are whining at the top of their lungs here about this perceived problem (which none of them have any actual proof of... ) yet see nothing wrong with sid doing the same exact thing?

The reason the trust is broken is because nobody but the person using duplicate accounts knows who they are or the reasons they are doing it. This has nothing to do with Sid starting rumors, Hex was the one who brought all of this to light by saying that there were a few people with duplicate accounts. Hex then stated that there was someone who was still using duplicate accounts. The board has a right to know who this is. It is lying the same way that me giving you a call on the phone and pretending to be someone else would be lying.

Lie: To utter falsehood with an intention to deceive; to say or do that which is intended to deceive another, when he a right to know the truth, or when morality requires a just representation.

If you are on this forum pretending to be someone you are not you are lying. If you lie you have then broken a trust. If every member knew that the duplicate account was had, like over at the other board you are active on, then that would be all well and good but that is not the case here. I'm fairly certain you are a member of the minority with your opinion on this one Bill, however you are entitled to your opinion, this is though supposed to be a member moderated board and the members seem to have spoken about wanting to know who has duplicate accounts and what those accounts are.
