I was currently at a cigar tasting session here in Kansas City for some new Cullman Series cigars. They had a raffle for some Pre-Castro Monte Cristo Cubans from early 1959. I was the lucky first to win one, and being only 20 years old got some bad looks from the onlookers. I was wondering what a cigar of that nature would be worth? The box it came from was completely unopened and the cigars are in mint condition. A man offered me a great deal of money, but me and my father were unsure, so we turned him down. I was just wondering, since I am "new" to the cigar world what the value on a cigar like this is worth. Thank you very much for your comments. I might add that this cigar is authentic and it does include the original tax stamp on it.
