Many here, myself included, have been banned from other forums for brow beating the admins and members over shitheads like puro and scotty. Hell, we killed thecigarforum.com to get the guy to toss scotty and some guy from stogie chat.

If you didn't see this side of my personality before, you weren't looking. There are some things/topics that I get fired up about. I rarely start the shit, but will fling it back at will, and in large quantities, when provoked.
What I have a problem with here, as well as hp, is when a poster gets into a good discussion, and is asked to back off, when the other posters are allowed to continue unrestrained. That is the bullshit. If you want to be like hp, go right ahead.

It is not news that I prefer self moderated smash mouth boards. I have a home here and another board that take that approach.

Boards of this nature do have the potential of running off people that might be positive contributors...But a vast majority of people realize if they are not shills and pass the thick skin test things will work out.

People have come here, pissed in the Wheaties, taken a little verbal hazing, and became good members. Shills and AssHats have departed rather quickly.

We have a good group of people here. SDMV if you want to stay by all means do. You're gonna take some heat...Hell we all take some heat here from time to time. If you don't like the atmosphere here than do what you must.
