Dan, sorry to read that bro. Was it hit and run, or did he/she stop? I'd get insurance involved if it is any where above 50% their fault, which is what is reads like. If they don't have proper insurance but you have their address, I'd find the bastige's car and let a friend take care of their car

I am ok thankfully which is the most important thing. There was a police report filed and insurance companies were contacted but this being NY there are so many accidents and people are assholes for most part so they will never admit its their fault and so insurance companies treat these cases as 50/50 meaning i get nothing out of it unless I sue for mental damages or some other crap ( which I am not going to ).\
Oh well I guess god gives some and takes some away.
